My blood, my body

A visual love letter to my body and my children.

This work is an intimate exploration of motherhood, embodiment, and the profound connection between parent and child.

For years, the possibility of motherhood felt uncertain—a distant longing shadowed by the realities of chronic pain and endometriosis. When I finally carried my first child, I experienced a visceral sense of oneness, as if his movements within me were an extension of my own being. Motherhood, to me, is the unsettling yet awe-inspiring realization that a piece of my heart now beats within another body.

These images are deeply personal reflections on that transformation. They serve not only as a documentation of my own journey but also as symbolic representations of blood, body, and creation—expressed through the organic forms of flowers and earth.
